Taxflow Pro is a practice management platform built for tax preparation firms that want every return, document, and client conversation in one organized place. From the moment a client submits their first W-2 to the day their refund arrives, the platform tracks each stage of the engagement — intake, document collection, review, e-signature, e-filing, payment, and follow-up — so nothing slips between the cracks during the busiest weeks of the season.

The platform is designed for independent preparers, growing multi-preparer offices, and bookkeeping practices that also file individual and business returns. Preparers get a focused workload board of the returns assigned to them, along with deadlines, missing-document checklists, and internal notes. Managers and owners get firm-wide reporting: turnaround times, workload balance across the team, revenue and invoicing, referral and retention insights, and a tamper-evident audit trail of every change made to client data.

Clients get a secure portal of their own where they can upload documents from a phone camera, review their return status, sign forms electronically, book appointments, pay invoices, and message their preparer — without emailing sensitive files back and forth. Automated reminders handle the routine nudges for missing paperwork, signatures, payments, and refund confirmations.

Taxflow Pro is built and maintained by the Taxflow Cortex team, a small group of software engineers working directly with practicing tax professionals. Security and privacy drive our roadmap: role-based access, encrypted document storage, portal session protection, daily automated security review, and a complete activity log are core parts of the product rather than add-ons.
